- Description
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Pacific Coastal Ecology Branch, 2111 SE Marine Science Drive, Newport, Oregon, requires Renovation of Dive Gear Lockers and Dressing Rooms. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, hardware, and documentation necessary to complete the project. This project consists of (A) Removing the existing dressing rooms; (B) Constructing two (2) showers with plumbing drains; (C) Constructing two (2) dressing rooms; (D) Constructing six (6) dive gear storage cubes; (E) Supplying Electrical and Exhaust; (F) Supplying Hot and Cold Water; (G) Sheet Rocking and Plywood; and (H) Painting. This is an unrestricted acquisition. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. Contract award will be made using best value methodology. Two evaluation factors will be used: Past Performance and Price. The evaluation factors will be approximately equal in importance. The anticipated contract performance period is 90 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated price of the work is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency. All prospective offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration system in order to be eligible for contract award. See the website www.ccr.gov for information about registration. The solicitation with specifications and site visit information, will be released through the internet on the Fedbizopps.gov website at www.fedbizopps.gov. The anticipated solicitation release date is approximately June 22, 2007. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided.
