- NASA/GRC has a requirement for: 1.) Perpetual license of CST STUDIO SUITE? Including: ? 1 year maintenance (support and updates) ? Standard Windows Edition / 32bit+ ? License type: Node Locked ? Maintenance Period: to be confirmed (1 year) ? 3D EM Solver ? Full processes: 1 ? Extra Frontend: 1 ? CST MICROWAVE STUDIO? ? max. 1 T (Time Domain) ? Quantity required ? 1 each 2.) Optional feature for item 1 ? max. 1 I (Integral Equation) ? Quantity required ? 1 each NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from Computer Simulation Technology. CST is the sole provider of the software and any maintenance. This software has been validated by experimental data. The integral equation solver is unique to this software package and must be compatibility with other users. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 noon local time on 07/09/2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". Any referenced notes may be viewed at the following URLs linked below.
