- Description
- The project entails the reconstruction of two trails, Ross Fork Trail No. 19 and Point Lookout Trail No. 161. Ross Fork Trail No. 19 is 6.7 miles long and consists of 2.1 miles trail construction and 4.3 miles of clearing existing trail and drainage work. Point Lookout Trail, No. 161 is 1.1 miles long and consists of 0.4 miles trail construction and 0.7 miles of clearing existing trail and drainage work. Items of work are mobilization, offsetting trail survey stakes, clearing and grubbing, excavation, rock excavation, trail clearing, boulder removal, grade dips, water bars, turnpike, switchbacks, PE pipe, geocell approaches, rock retaining wall, treated solid sawn timber bridge, rock cairns, signs, posts and trail obliteration. Project Location - The Ross Fork and Point Lookout Trails are located on the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, Pintler Ranger District, Granite County, Montana. The beginning of Ross Fork Trail No. 19 is at the end of Forest Road No. 5072, west of Moose Meadows, in the NW 1/4 SE 1/4, Section 5, T4N, R16W, P.M.M. The beginning of Point Lookout Trail No. 161 is at the intersection of Trails Nos. 19 and 161, station 151+20 of Trail 19, in the NW 1/4 NE 1/4, Section 12, T4N, R17W, P.M.M. The solicitation will be available on approximately 11 May 2007 and can be downloaded from this site at that time. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (26-APR-2007).
