Description
Peterson AFB, CO, is seeking sources and requesting information pertaining to the requirement stated below. Particularly, we are interested in fulfilling the requirement using established training programs, but tailored to our specifics. Interested parties contact SSgt Michael Venning at michael.venning@peterson.af.mil by 7:00am MST on 5 July 2007. All input and guidance is welcome. REQUIREMENT: Training is to be considered ?REFRESHER?. The following is to be provided by one vendor. Sub-contracting and/or partnering may be appropriate at the vendor?s discretion. Military Special Forces personnel require training by subject matter experts in the area of Special Operations Tactical Evasive Drivers Courses (SOTEDC), Advanced Special Operations (ASO) Training Level I, II, and III, and additional tactical and technical training. Training will be executed in accordance with applicable SF guidelines. Official certification will be issued upon completion of training. Specific training areas: SOTEDC to include Force Protection Driving, Road Rally Driving, Advanced Off-Road Driving, Vehicle Entry, Occupant Removal and Ballistics, and Submerged Vehicle Escape. With regards to ASO training, the vendor shall provide us with highly qualified, ASOT Level III graduates. ASO subjects include Urban Decentralized Training, Rural Decentralized Training, Conversational Skills, and a Culmination Exercise. Tactical training elements include Advanced Marksmanship Training (AMMS), Mountaineering, Parachuting, Tracking-Counter Tracking, Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape and Recovery, Personnel Recovery, Underwater Operations and Support, Advanced Special Operations, Cache Emplacement and Recovery, and Breaching. Technical training elements include Sensitive Site and Target Exploitation, Technical Surveillance, Non-Lethal Hostile Target Neutralization, Remote Site Construction and Fortification, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Equipment Fielding, Testing, Evaluation and Training (NEFTET), HF/VHF/UFH Digital-Voice-Data and DAMA Communications, and Expedient and Improvised Demolitions. The contractor will also provide training in Command and Staff Operations Skills; Exercise Development, Coordination and Support; Training Planning, Management and Development (TPMD); and Effective Methods of Instruction. Applicable documents: USASOC Regulation 525-5, FM 3-05.220, and other applicable manuals, regulations, and policies as required. Facility clearance required is Top Secret. Period of performance is expected to be one month from date of training commencement. Estimated date for training to begin is 16 July 2007. In capabilities brief, please talk about options for locations for training, whether it be on our unit?s base or at vendor?s location. Also mention possibilities of war-zone training/consulting if training cannot be accomplished CONUS in a good timeframe. Please limit capabilities statements to 20 pages, single-spaced, size 10 font.
