Description

The US Geological Survey intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to William A Bennett of Bodega Bay, CA for consulting services in support of the CALFED Bay-Delta Program. This source has unique knowledge of the fish population dynamics, the ecology of fishes in estuarine and near-shore marine environments, fish esemblages of the San Francisco estuary and its watershed, the ecology of Delta fishes, and familiarity with the CALFED science program that is necessary to serve as an advisor to the CALFED lead scientist. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Officer by e-mail (rdonez@usgs.gov) no later than the response date shown in the announcement.
