- Propane Gas Systems and Appliances: Removal and replacement of lightning protection systems on three fire lookouts on the Umpqua National Forest. This project includes separately priced option items for two additional lookouts. Estimated start work is October, 2007 and must be completed by November 30, 2008. Work shall include coordination with local gas company to provide a new gas company owned propane storage tank, removal of all existing gas piping, valves, and regulators, removal of tank base(s), removal of appliances and replacement of gas system and appliances. This is a Request for Quotations requiring completion of a Questionnaire, detailed technical proposals are not required. Award evaluation criteria include technical capability specific to propane gas system replacement and past performance history in addition to price, award may be made without discussions. The project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Solicitation will be available on or about 7/25/2007.
