Description: USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service is announcing a project to construct an earthen embankment dam; a concrete principal spillway and its associated appurtenances; and an excavated open channel auxiliary spillway in the right abutment. The work includes approximately 140,225 cubic yards of earthfill and 104 cubic yards of concrete. The dam will be approximately 1,400 feet long and 42 feet high. Price Range: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 Seal bids are due no later than August 14, 2007 at 2:00 pm CST, at USDA-NRCS, Attn: Kat Pinckney, 101 S Main Street, Temple, TX 76501.
