Description

The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio, Cardiology Department, intends to sole source this procurement to Orthopedic Systems, Inc, to provide equipment the Allegro Mobile Imaging Table and it's accessories due to its unique ability of movement for use during difficult and intensive vascular surgeries. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), the government feels that only one business can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source. NAICS 339113 and size standard of 500 employees to this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification through email to the Contracting Officer by July 10, 2007 at 12:00pm EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist Intern, Antionette Collins at Antionette.Collins@va.gov .Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs will precede to sole source this requirement to Orthopedic Systems, Inc for the Allegro Mobile Imaging Table. No telephone inquiries will be accepted, nor will responses be accepted after July 10, 2007 at 12:00pm EST.
