- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number is F2XTB97071A100 as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16 (22 Mar 2007) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20070531. It is the offeror?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is for the purchase of compressors and enclosures and a 3 year maintenance agreement. CLIN 0001 1 Each 50 HP Rotary Screw Compressor, Quincy Model Number: QSI-2451 or equal rated at 243 acfm at 100 psig full load discharge pressure, item 0 -50 hp rotary screw compressor, model number:qsi-2451 460/3/60, air cooled, direct drive @ 1800 rpm, triplex bearing arrangement, triple lip shaft seal system, across the line motor starter, auto dual control with inlet modulation, epact high efficiency drive motor, ul & cul listed electrical controls, quinsyn 8000 hour fluid of choice (plus/pg/xp), fluid type selected: quinsyn-plus, heavy duty intake filter, axial flow inlet design, warning & shutdown annunciator, aftercooler w/prepiped moisture separator & trap, enclosed sound levels down to 66 dba, cooler access panel for easy cleaning, pre-painted epoxy coated components, royal blue 10 year airend warranty, royal blue includes 5-year motor,cooler oil reservoir & coupling warranty. CLIN 0016 ? Credit for removal and disposal of old units. CLIN 0017- Installation Vendor must provide an estimated time of delivery. VENDOR SHALL SUBMIT OPEN MARKET QUOTES FOR ALL OR NONE OF THE CLIN?s. If providing a quote with brand name line items, vendor shall provide full specifications details for comparability. Please submit signed and dated quotes on company letterhead with unit prices, unit total prices and total offer amount. The Government will make an award to the lowest priced, responsible, contractor whose quote conforms to the solicitation. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at http://www.ccr.gov/ and Wide Area Workflow at https://wawf.eb.mil/. Offerors must also be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications system at http://orca.bpn.gov and provide a completed DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance of Payment Program Certificate (Jun 2005) with the quote. The acquisition is 100% total set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 423830 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
