- Description
- This acquisition is in support of Foreign Military Sales and is for Contractor, Type I, training. The Belgian Air Force (BAF) is in need of two qualified instructor pilots (IP) to provide F-16 Operational Conversion Unit (OCU) pilot (ground and flight) training to BAF students who have just finished a jet conversion course in their Alpha Jet trainer aircraft. The training shall be in the English language and the training will take place at Kleine-Brogel Air Base Belgium, using BAF facilities, equipment, and training materials. The training will be for a duration of one year beginning as soon as possible in 2007. The government intends to solicit this requirement as unrestricted using the (NAICS) code of 611512. The size standard is $6,500,000.00. The anticipated contract type will be a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive a contract from any DoD activity. This pre-solicitation notice should not be construed as a request for competitive proposals. Please note that AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, is applicable.
