- This Is A Sources Sought Announcement Only For Purposes Of Conducting Market Research. There Is No Solicitation Available At This Time. Requests For A Solicitation Will Not Receive A Response. The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPh erson, Georgia is conducting market research to determine the extent to which small businesses are capable of performing as a prime contractor for all labor, personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, supervision and other items and services necessary to p rovide the Rental and Service of Portable Chemical Latrines on Fort Stewart, GA and within a 150 mile radius of those boundaries. The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System code for this acquisition is 562991, small business size stan dard is $6.5 Million. The Government will not reimburse any concern for any information that is submitted in response to this Sources Sought request. Any information submitted is voluntary. Interested business concerns are invited to provide a capabilit ies statement demonstrating ability to perform and provide the following: 1. Monthly Rental of portable chemical latrines on a monthly basis (175 x 12 months); 2. Servicing of monthly rented portable chemical latrines on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday sched ule (175 x 13 services/month); 3. Daily Rental of portable chemical latrines (200 x 30 days x 12 months); 4. Servicing of daily rented portable chemical latrines on Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule (200 x 13 services/month x 12 months); 5. Daily Renta l of handicap accessible portable chemical latrines (100); 6. Servicing of daily rented handicap portable chemical latrines on Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule (175 x 13 services/month x 12 months); 7. Rental of portable chemical latrines on a monthly basis (175 x 12 months); 8. Rental of portable hand wash stations on a daily basis (30 x 365); 9. Servicing of portable hand wash stations on a daily basis three days per week (40 x 3 x 52); 10. May be required at times, to place and service latrines in areas, which may only be accessible by rough terrain vehicles. Vehicles must have four-wheel drive capability and self-recovery winches; 11. At a minimum, 2 years of documented history of operating an enterprising portable chemical latrine rental service business of similar magnitude. Indicate whether interested business concern is small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), woman-owned, service disabled veteran, Hub-Zone or any other socio-economic group. All interested business concerns are required to respond to this sources sought announcement via email by July 13, 2007, 12:00 p.m. (EST). Responses shall not exceed 4 pages, and must include company point of contact, email address, telephone number, and CAGE Code. The information provided in response to this sources sought will be used to finalize the acquisition strategy for this requirement. If it is determined that responses received from small businesses do not address all 11 of the above stated requirements, the final acquisition may provide this require ment to be competed on a full and open basis. Large business concerns are not prohibited from responding to this announcement; however, information submitted from large businesses may not be used if an adequate number of small businesses demonstrate an ab ility to perform all tasks at all locations.
