Description

NA Synopsis: A firm fixed-price, five-year requirements contract is anticipated for the following item: Diagnostic Test Set (DTS), P/N: 1A-464-003; NSN: 6665-99-000-3023 The DTS is used on the Chemical Agent Monitor (CAM) and Improved Chemical Agent Monitor (ICAM). This action will be a Best Value Acquisition with the following criteria. Technical Go/NoGo; Price; Past Performance; and Small Business Participation. This will be an unrestricted acquisition. First Article Testing is required. FOB is Destination. Estimated requirements for the five years are as follows: FY08 20; FY09 34; FY10 32; FY11 32; FY12 32 The approximate issue date will be July 31, 2007 with an approximate response date of August 30, 2007. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Be cause of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorpora tes a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: ROCK-TACOM-tdp@CONUS.army.mil. Any said requ ests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet.
