- This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. Solicitation Number W9126G-07-R-0088 will be issued approximately fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis being published. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The contract is in support of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, Sam Rayburn Project Office, Jasper, Texas. Contract completion date is 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP) Acceptance Date by the Contractor. The estimated contrac t amount is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid Bond (20% of Bid Price) is required to submit with proposal package and shall accompany proposal or the proposal shall be rejected. Performance and Payment Bond requirements shall be in accordance with FAR 52 .228-15, as stated in the current issue of Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to deliver, construct and install three new floating courtesy docks with anchorage system, aluminum gangway with handrails, concrete abutment, and concrete sidewalk to adjacent asphalt areas in accordance with the specifications and drawings provided. Two courtesy docks located at Hanks Creek Park located on Sam Rayburn Reservoir, in Angelina County near Farm Market Road 2801, approximately 12 miles south-east of Huntington, Texas. One courtesy dock located at Mill Creek Park, located on Sam Rayburn Reservoir, in Sabine County, in Brookeland, Texas. The Contract Specialist for this solicitation will be Jean K. Ross, E-mail: Jean.Ross@swf02.usace.army.mil. There will be no public bid opening. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this project is 237990. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be issued on or about 17 Ju ly 2007, with proposals due on or about 16 August 2007 (unless otherwise stated in the solicitation). The contract award will be based on Best Value to the Government, which may or may not result in accepting the lowest-price d offer. To determine best v alue, the Government's proposal evaluation will consist of but not be limited to evaluation of the offerors PAST PERFORMANCE as well as price.
