- With this announcement, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Chicago District issues this Pre-Solicitation Notice for Town of Cedar Lake, Utopia Subdivion Stormwater Drainage Improvements, Cedar Lake, Indiana. The Contractor will be responsible for pr oviding all necessary facilities, plants, labor, transportation, materials, and equipment for excavation of approximately 2100 Linear Feet (LF) of ditch improvements and a sediment basin, installation of approximately 625 (LF) of 8-foot X 4-foot storm sewe r culvert and associated appuremtances, and removal of an existing concrete control structure, and other work items identified in the Bid Schedule. The classification Code for this procurement is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 23799 0, with a Small Business Standard size of $31 Million. Competition for this acquisition is UNRESTRICTED as to Business Size. The Corps of Engineers intends to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. The estimated price range for this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Invitation for Bids will be downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY.
