Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Reno, NV has a requirement to plug two water wells in accordance wiith the State of Nevada law. Due to specific requirements in Nevada law, bids will only be accepted from licensed drillers who meet the requirements of the Nevada Department of Water Resources (NDWR) to plug wells. State regulations addressing water wells and well plugging are at the Nevada Revised Statues Chapter 534 - Underground Water and Wells, and in the Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) at section 534. Specific well plugging direction is found at NAC 534.420. These NDWR requirements are on the web at the following internet address: http://water.nv.gov/home/nrs.htm A copy of Well Drillers Report 64306 (P.G. Harrison) and other information from NDWR are included as attachments to this solicitation and can be accessed at the following web page: http://water.nv.gov/engineering/wlog/wlog_results.cfm. Please see the Statement of work for Harris and Harrison Well Plugging to be submitted in the Solicitation Package. Solicitation packages will be available electronically on or about July 3, 2007. Offers will be due on or beforet July 20, 2007. The North American Industry Classification System number for this solicitation is 235810. The procurement is 100% set-aside for small business.
