Description

Announcing a Sole Source procurement to provide onsite repair service for Motorila radio equipment at Shenandoah National Park repeater sites and the park's Communication center. The Contractor shall provide onsite infractructure response to Shenandoah national Park, Luray, VA 22835. preform repairs, exchange park supplied field replacement units or other service to all radio equipment as required. All repairs to equipment as would be provided under the starndard warranty agreement will be provided by the contractor. The Park's radio system is used extensively for both emergency and law enforcement operations. For the system to remain reliable it must be maintained. This includes prompt response 24 hours a day, 365 days per year when problems develope that impact the system's ability to provide reliable radio coverage. Contract to porvide many levels of service required. Provides one preventative maintenance inspection per year. Maintenence of subscriber units is not a part. The contract will utilize local dispatch pf service personnel rather than using more costly central call center. The current system was designed and installed by Motorola. Our need is to have a four hour response time for major system failures.
