Description
The US Naval Hospital Guam intends to negotiate (IAW FAR 6.302) with International Biomedical Inc, Airborne Life Support Division, 8508 Cross Park Dr, Austin, TX 78754-4557, as the only source that can provide the brand name only, Military-Approved Transport Infant Incubator. The contractor shall specifically provide the International Biomedical Incubator Model Number 20M along with needed accessories. Accessories include: 1. Incubator Model 20M 7310661 @ 1 each, 2. Acc Mod Military Low Profile 7310705 @ 1 each, 3. Propaq 204EL Monitor Military 7319875 @ 1 each, 4. Ventilator Bio-Med MVP-10 7319000 @ 1 each, 5. Monitor HiLo Pressure Bio-Med M-1 7319435 @ 1 each, 6. Impact Portable Suction 7319096 @ 1 each, 7. Air/Oxy Cart Retractable Bar 3170686 @ 1 each, 8. Universal ?E? Air/Oxy Cart 7310260 @ 1 each, 9. Air Regulator for ?E? Cylinder 7319421 @ 2 each, 10. Oxy Regulator for ?E? Cylinder 7319422 @ 2 each, 11. Operator and Service Manuals OPMAN @ 2 each, 12. Freight ? Firm shipping cost direct to Guam via Air Freight. Requirement is for a transport infant incubator cleared for use aboard military aircraft and registered as a Patient Movement Item with the Defense Medical Standardization Board. The transport infant incubator shall meet military specs, along with its components shall be compliant with FDA regulations to market/deliver medical products for use in the USA, even though delivery be requested outside of the United States. Any claims made for the product shall comply with the regulations of the FDA with respect to products for marketing/delivery of a medical product for use in the USA, even though delivery be requested outside of the United States. Acquisition is being conducted utilizing SAP (FAR 13.5). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. Intended procurement is classified under NAICS 339113. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Though, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data to include costs, enough to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
