- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, (NSWCCD) has a requirement for Cables and Patch Panels to support a WFF project with GB/Electric Boat. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and award a firm fixed price purchase order to PCB PIEZOTRONICS Electronics Division, Depew, NY. PCB is the only manufacturer of this type of experimental test equipment which interfaces the data acquisition modules to the signal conditioners and the patch panels. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 18 July 2007, at 5:00pm will be considered by the Government. A determination b y the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
