- Description
- Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) proposes to procure effort related to development and support of TRIDENT I and TRIDENT II Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) analysis, including: Systems Engineering and Systems Analysis Support; Integrated Methodology Development; Program Structure and Development; Arms Control Support; Subsystem Program Assessments; and Research & Development Support (if option is exercised). The contract will include the FY06 base year effort, four one-year options, and provisions that would allow for level of effort increases up to 30%. This effort will be awarded to Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., the only company with immediate capability and expertise in a wide variety of weapon system analyses in areas directly applicable to this procurement such as: technical trade-off studies; developing performance incentive criteria for TRIDENT contracts; and establishing program inventory objectives.
