- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to award a single contract for each award grouping detailed below for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for inmates at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Butner, North Carolina. Offers may be submitted for Award Grouping A only, Award Grouping B only, or both. The output for the award groupings are as follows: Award Grouping A: Output #1 - Institution-Based Diagnostic Imaging Services, #2 - Institution-Based Radiation Therapy Services, #3 - Institution-Based Renal Dialysis Services, #4 - Institution-based Neuro Diagnostic Services, #5 - Institution-Based Non-Physician Medical Staffing Services, #6 - Institution-Based Physician Services, #7 - Community-Based Inpatient and Outpatient Physician Services (less organ transplantation services), #8 - Community-Based Inpatient and Outpatient Facility Services (less organ transplantation services), #10 - Provision of Centralized Billing, and #11 - Maintain Open Avenues of Communication. Award Grouping B: Output #9 - Community-Based Inpatient and Outpatient Organ Transplantation Services, #10 - Provision of Centralized Billing, and #11 - Maintain Open Avenues of Communication. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements type with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract(s) shall consist of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. Due to the volume of information, quantities of services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made available on/or about March 27, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is May 10, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
