- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS This constitutes a sources sought synopsis and is not a request for proposals. The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) / Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS) is seeking potential sources for temporary contract pilot services. Contract pilots are needed to fly MD-80 aircraft located at Mesa, Arizona, Boeing 737 aircraft located at Alexandria, LA, and Boeing 737 aircraft located at Oklahoma City, OK. This requirement is to meet a critical need of the USMS that cannot be met by the current work force. The contractor remains legally responsible for each pilot provided and will supervise each pilot as defined at 5 USC 7103(a)(10). The contractor shall provide a pilot that meets all FAA requirements, including current type rating for the respective aircraft. All flights will be flown under FAA Part 91 regulations. All pilots shall be subject to security screening by USMS/JPATS personnel. The Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System is seeking potential sources. To be considered a potential source, interested contractors shall meet the above requirements. Responses to this sources sought synopsis shall be provided to Sandra M. Fink, Contract Specialist, sandra.fink@usdoj.gov. or FAX (405) 680-3472, no later than 3:30 p.m. CDT, May 16, 2007. No associated reimbursement of costs will be made for responding to this announcement.. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (09-MAY-2007).
