Description
USDA/FSA is seeking small business owned companies to do preventive maintenance on forklifts and hand jacks at the warehouse that meet the following requirements: Statement of Work for Forklift Maintenance Part 1: General Information: 1) Vendor shall provide preventative maintenance for Linde (2 Model E-15 and 2 Model E-15-02) 24 volt electric forklifts, and two electric Model EGU-20 Linde pallet jacks. 2) The Vendor is responsible for all repairs to said machines, as authorized by FSA personnel. 3) These services shall be completed and invoiced in accordance with the attached Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Terms and Conditions. Part 2: Work Requirements Preventive Maintenance: 1)At a time scheduled by authorized FSA personnel, the vendor shall perform preventative maintenance (PM) at least quarterly for forklifts and semi-annually for hand jacks in accordance with the attached periodic checklist. The PM work may be done in conjunction with repair service calls if appropriate. Repairs: 1)The Vendor shall respond to service calls within 24 hours from the time of the initial call or the next business day if call is on a Friday. 2)Under most condition, the repairs will be made at the FSA facility. 3)The Vendor shall have and use the necessary diagnostic equipment that is designed for the equipment involved to correctly and timely diagnose and repair Linde forklifts and pallet jacks. 4)The Vendor shall supply all commonly required replacement parts for the Linde equipment within 24 hours from the initial service call. 5)For unusual replacement parts, the vendor shall notify the Warehouse Supervisor or Leader at the time of the service call when these parts are expected to be available. Part 3: Supporting Information 1)Technicians will be escorted by government personnel while in the government building. Respond with name of Company and Duns Number.
