- In accordance with the procedures specified in OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003), the Department of Justice (DOJ), United States Marshals Service (USMS) hereby announces it is conducting a streamlined competition of secretarial and administrative functions. A Most Efficient Organization (MEO) will be developed. The services are performed by 20 full time equivalents (FTE) located in Los Angeles, CA; Honolulu, HI; New Orleans, LA; Baton Rouge, LA; Shreveport, LA; Arlington, VA; Boston, MA; Grand Rapids, MI; Las Vegas, NV; Newark, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Portland, ME; Columbia, SC; Beaumont, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Spokane, WA; Seattle, WA; and Puerto Rico. This notice does not constitute a solicitation nor does it obligate the government to issue a solicitation in the future. The date of this public announcement is the official start date for this competition. The projected completion date for this competition ia August 31, 2007. A public notice of the outcome of this competitive sourcing streamlined competition will be published in this forum. The Competitive Sourcing Official is Larry Silvas, A-76 Coordinator. The Contracting Officer is Joanne Rekas. The Agency Tender Official is Jim Murphy, Assistant Chief, Management Programs.
