Description
The ACA-NR Directorate of Contracting, 45 West Street, Fort Drum, NY, is soliciting proposals for a Job Order Contract (JOC). The JOC is for a broad range of Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) work on real property at Fort Drum, New Yo rk. The contract will employ a wide variety of individual construction tasks (approximately 35,000), and the scope of work will include tasks in a variety of trades, such as carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, fiber optics, building automation ta sks, interior electrical, exterior electrical, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry, and welding. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, firm-fixed-price type contract against which individ ual task orders will be issued by the Contracting Officer, using pre-established unit prices from the JOC Unit Price Book. The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to accomplish all task orders. The contr act period shall be for a base period of one year plus 4 option years. This procurement is 100 percent Set-Aside for HUBZone small business concerns, pursuant to the requirements of FAR Subpart 19.1305, HUBZone set-aside procedures. The North American In dustry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. The guaranteed minimum quantity of work which will be required under this contract, and which will be initiated by one or more Task Orders, will be not less than $200,000.00 for the base year and each o ption year, if the Government exercises the option period(s). The estimated dollar value of each contract period is $15,000,000.00 or $75,000,000.00 total estimated amount of the base and option periods. In no event shall the sum of the base period and a ll option years exceed the maximum value of $75,000,000.00. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about 18 July 2007. The DUE DATE for proposals shall be 45 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drums Web Page. All responsible HUBZone s mall businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidders Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire solicitation package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page at http://www.drum.army.mil/sites/directorates/doc-solicitations.asp. No hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to offer are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the solicitation. Failure to respond to any amendment may render the offer to be considered non-responsive and thereby rejected.
