- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE:W23BFK71207002 The Headquarters, US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) intends to award on a sole source basis with MICROCUBE CORP 103 Loudoun ST SW Leesburg, VA 20175, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(2)(b)(1), Only One Source Reasonable. This announce ment constitutes the only solicitation to be issued. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications for Commercial Items must be included with the offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause 52.212-5, Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. INSCOM intends to acquire: (0001) RX1 SYSTEM : Consist of one MRC307 removable controller and the main RX1 chassis with two receivers, DRS MDL WJ-8710A HF and the DRS MDL SI-8614/BW3 VHF receiver Based on extensive market research conducted with knowledgeable individuals in Government and the related industry, MICROCUBE CORP is the sole source for the RX1 System. There are not any other authorized sources available to service this product. This N otice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit quotes to this office by 10:00 AM, EST, 13 July, 2007 by e-mail at kzhill@mi.army.m il. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of deter mining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Parts 12 and 13. In order to be considered for an award, an offeror must have completed the online e lectronic Representations and Certifications located at http://orca.bpn.gov/ in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) and must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database.
