- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the Format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number N4223771701000 is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is Unrestricted. NAICS 611430. The Family Service Center, Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, GA requires the following service. Vendor to provide training and consultation in connection with the ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) program that the Navy has been using since 2006. This training is requested to expand the number of Registered Trainers of ASIST throughout Commander Navy Region Southeast due to the Navys interest in reducing the suicide rate. The program is to be taught as emergency first aid to persons at risk of suicidal behavior. It is a program that must be taught exactly as designed to develop skills and increase comfort and confidence when intervening with a suicidal person. The training will be taught to a maximum of thirty (30) Candidate Trainers. The vendor shall provide training materials for the thirty (30) Candidate Trainers. The vendor shall provide at least three senior trainers on Monday, July 16, 2007, Tuesday, July 17, 2007 and three additional senior trainers on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, Thursday, July 19, 2007 and Friday, July 20, 2007. Vendor will assume all accommodation and travel expenses for their trainers.
