Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small businesses only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 512110, the Size Standard is $27 Million. Solicitation/Purchase Request number TECHANIMATIONS is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17 effective 14 June 2007. The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN 0001) for Production of an Animated Scenario depicting technology, see attached Performance Work Statement for details. QUANTITY: 1 UNIT OF MEASURE: EACH (Please break down to Price Per Second) DESIRED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Calendar Years 2007 thru 2009?NOTE: This contract type will be a Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a minimum value of $10,500.00 and an estimated maximum of $200,000.00 during the period of performance. FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION. Interested vendors must be aware that an oral presentation at our location MAY BE REQUESTED for further evaluation of the company?s capabilities. In accordance with the FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of price, past performance/experience of animation team, and availability of animator to communicate directly with customer. (Please refer to Paragraph 1.5 of the Performance Work Statement regarding the importance of being readily available. Therefore, a management plan regarding communication and availability is also requested.) Offeror will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2.
