Description
AMENDMENT 01-5 July 2007. The purpose of this amendment is to change the quantities from the original posting. The proposed order is changed as follows: FROM: - The FY07 MTS-B production effort will include a quantity of four (4) MTS-B systems with an option for up to fifteen (15) additional MTS-B systems, and associated spare parts - The FY07 MTS-A imager assembly retrofit order for up to 45 units TO: -27 MTS A Production Systems with an option for an additional 2 systems -19 MTS B Production Systems with an option for 1 additional system -54 MTS A Retrofit Systems -3 MTS B Pre-Production Systems -Spares ORIGINAL POSTING-MQ-9 and MQ-1 Multisensor Targeting System Full Rate Production and Retrofit Solicitation FA8620-06-G-4041 0004, MQ-9 and MQ-1 Multisensor Targeting System Full Rate Production. This is a Notice of Contract Action (NOCA). The Aeronautical System Center (ASC), 658th Aeronautical Systems Squadron (AESS) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed source is to Raytheon, McKinney, TX. The proposed order is as follows: - The FY07 MTS-B production effort will include a quantity of four (4) MTS-B systems with an option for up to fifteen (15) additional MTS-B systems, and associated spare parts - The FY07 MTS-A imager assembly retrofit order for up to 45 units This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. For subcontracting opportunities, interested parties may submit appropriate information to Becky Perry at 972-952-5388. It is anticipated that award will be made via delivery order to an existing basic ordering agreement. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement action is 336413. Raytheon - McKinney, TX has been identified as the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, technical data, and ability to meet the stringent delivery requirements. The government does not own full data rights for the system; therefore, to avoid duplication costs, the government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
