Description
National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California has a requirement for Interior Design and Furnishing of two dining facilities. This requirement is being solicited as a small business set-aside under NAICS 423210. PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT: 1. The contractor to design, furnish, and decorate two (2) each dining facilities, located at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California, located approximately 35-miles north of Barstow, CA. Design shall be accomplished to accommodate 260 diners, while presenting a well organized professional looking dining environment. Design shall be inclusive of but not limited to a combination of tables and chairs, a minimum of three (3) flat screen tvs with mounting brackets capable of also accomodating cabl e box, d?cor items, planter boxes and window treatments. In addition furniture and equipment to be provideded shall be equivalent or better than that of University type cafeterias. Drawings, color and material samples shall be provided with proposal. Cont ractor shall also be responsible for repairs to walls and floors as needed and will be included in the contractors proposal. 2. The location for the project is the National Training Center Fort Irwin, CA. The facilities are the National Training Center Dining Facility (Bldg 254) & the Regimental Dining Facility (Bldg 271). Color schemes to be utlilzed shall be as follows: Build ing 254  Earthtones with blue and Building 271  Earthtones with burgandy. 3. Delivery, installation, and removal of all furnishings and equipment will be done consecutively for each dining facility. The contractor is responsible to remove existing tables and chairs at Bldg 254 & 271 Dining Facilities. All transportation and asso ciated personnel costs to install and remove equipment from the facility will be included on the contractors quote. 4. The delivery and installation time frame for the Regimental Dining Facility (Bldg 271) is 31 July 2007. Delivery time for the National Training Center Dining Facility (Bldg 254) is 24 October 2007. All contractor questions are to be in writing and sent via e-mail to the Fort Irwin Contracting Officer below. 5. In addition to furniture to be provided in support of proposed design, the contractor shall provide the following items in the quantities specified for use during VIP dining: High Back Leather Chairs 4 EA Swivel with wheels, Black Leather Medium Back Leather Chairs 20 EA Swivel with wheels, Black Leather Low Back Leather Chairs 10 EA Stationary, Black Leather Interested parties can locate the complete solicitation for download at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/.
