CANCELLATION NOTICE: Bids are being solicited under solicitation number a7h095. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. If your company can provide the product/services listed on the solicitation and comply with all of the solicitation instructions, please respond to this notice. To view the specifications, please go to www.FedBid.com and reference Buy No. 41592. GSA Schedule Bids Preferred, But Not Required: Sellers may either provide a GSA Schedule or an Open Market bid. If bidding with a GSA Schedule, the requested items must be on that Schedule. The Schedule must either be in the seller's name or the seller must be able to document its ability to act as an agent of a partner's Schedule. Sellers may offer Open Market items only in accordance with the approved Terms and Conditions of their respective GSA Schedule AND upon approval from the soliciting Contracting Officer. Information regarding GSA Schedules can be found at www.GSA.gov. This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified sellers may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2007-06-18 15:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Denver, CO 80225 The Environmental Protection Agency requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001, Tekmar Stratum PTC Sample Concentrator 110V with Guardian Foam Sensor/Foam Eliminator. Includes: 60" Silitek heated transferline, Silitek tubing, and Silitek treated fittings throughout the sample pathway; heated sample mount; DryFlow moisture system; U-Trap technology; On-trap injection port; 5mL frit sample sparger; Vocarb 3000 trap; #3 trap; spare fuses; instruction manual; RS-232 interface capability; and VOC Teklink software., 1, EA; LI 002, Electronic interface cable, HP 6890, 3000/6000, 1, EA; LI 003, Tekmar AQUATek 70 Liquid Autosampler with 5mL sample loop. Includes: 70 vial drinking water and wastewater capacity; standard injection capability; 5mL frit sparger; two 35 positions sample trays; 120V; and instruction manual. One year warranty., 1, EA; LI 004, Tekmar SOLATek 72/AQUATek 70 rinse water reservoir kit. Includes 5 Liter reservoir, activated carbon filter, copper tubing, and fittings., 1, EA; LI 005, Set up and familiarize users with above equipment., 1, EA; For this solicitation, Environmental Protection Agency intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. Environmental Protection Agency is taking this action in an effort to improve both seller access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids. All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Sellers that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. Successful vendor must provide the following: VOC Teklink software compatible with the Windows operating system; installation of the instruments and software, engineer must have operational knowledge of the software, operating system and the GC/MSD system; show proper system functioning prior to departing site; warrant goods to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 year from date of installation, or 18 months from the date of invoice, whichever comes first; warrant consumables, spare parts, accessories, and services for 90 days from the date of shipment, or completion of the installation; and replacement parts and professional maintenance servicing.
