Description

The Federal Lands Highway Division of the Federal Highway Administration is the primary road-builder for the National Park Service, Forest Service, Wildlife Refuges, and several other government agencies. This proposed purchase is for some roadwork to include: Mobilization, Silt Fence (184 LNFT), Watering for Dust Control(100 MGAL), Clearing & Grubbing(1,000 SQYD), Embankment Construction(1,100 CUYD), Ditch Reconditioning(240 LNFT), Roadway Aggregate(150 TON), Minor Hot Asphalt Concrete(75 TON), Arch or Elliptical Pipe Culvert(16 LNFT), Geocomposite Underdrain(600 LNFT), Hydraulic Seeding(1,500 SQYD), Temporary Traffic Control. This work is being done on the May Canyon Road, Site 3N54-05-01 in the Angeles National Forest in California. The performance period of this job is 30 calendar days. Work is to be completed between 9/4/07 and 10/5/07. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation DTFH68-07-P-00083 is advertised on an unrestricted basis and will be awarded as a firm fixed-price contract. The NAICS Code is 237310. The Government anticipates an award of contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, and past performance will be considered.
