Description

Architect Engineering Services required to provide complete design and construction period services for Project 568-07-290, Building 4 Elevator at the VA Black Hills Health Care System, Hot Springs, SD. This project will install a new elevator for Domiciliary Building 4 to allow for handicapped access to Building 4. Building 4 is a three story building and was constructed in 1907. Access to the top two floors is through ramps that do not comply with handicapped accessibility standards. The elevator will be a three stop elevator. The design services shall include all structural, electrical, architectural and engineering services as required for complete design and construction period services. The project will consist of construction of a new elevator/stairwell which will connect to existing Building 4. Building 4 is sandstone construction and is on the South Dakota Historical Registry. Constuction estimate is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Area of consideration is limited to those Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Architect Engineering firms located within a 500 mile radius of Hot Springs, SD. This procurement is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. Submit current SF 330 for review and consideration by close of business July 31, 2007 to the attention of the Contracting Officer, (Log-Con), VA Black Hills Health Care System, 500 North 5th Street, Hot Springs, SD 57747.
