Description

Synopsis under Solicitation number:W45CMJ71786000 is not set-aside 100%, this acquisition will be conducted on an unrestricted basis. This announcement is notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Shane Gelling Co., 98 Prospect Avenu e, Sea Cliff, NY. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for 25,000 Transcore eGo (RFID) tags, part number 13-0510 -105 for an estimated amount of $213,250.00. The specific RFID tag is the model which has been tested for use with the integrated vehi cle identification software used in Fort Hood's automated access control system. This specific model contains an integr ated security marker and, has been proven through recent test activity to have technical reliability and physical reliability for consta nt and continued use throughout the remainder of the test. Shane Gelling is the integrator who has performed phases I a nd II installation and testing of the Phantom Express System at Fort Hood, on behalf of the Army. Response date is 20 Jul 07 at 11:00 AM.
