Questions posed at the site visit will be answered at the visit in addition to being posted on www.fbo.gov after the visit. Any resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order and will require the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to remove and dispose of two awning structures and subsequently create and install two new awnings and covers with graphics for NAS Pensacola, FL, Building 646 in accordance with attached drawing. The awning must be removable from the building, the recommended method of construction is to have the awning slide into a track attached to the building and have the covers laced to the structure. This is important because of the building?s proximity to the water in the event of a Hurricane. The work shall include, but is not limited to removing and replacing the current two awning structures. These structures include two half barrel awnings attached to Bldg 646 approximately seven feet off the ground. The new awnings shall include half barrel aluminum structures and covers with graphics as depicted in the attached image. All bolts and items used to connect the awnings to bldg 646 shall be made of stainless steel. The covers shall be made of vinyl coated cotton and shall be the color and type of all other awnings attached to bldg 646. Installation of the awnings shall be within 5 weeks after receipt of order.
