- This is the replacement for the Presolicitation Triple Quad HPLC Description: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to enter into negotiations with Waters Corporation, 34 Maple Street, Milford, MA 01757 for a One (1) year maintenance agreement for a Waters Triple QUAD HPLC Mass Spectrometer with Electrospray interface attached to the UPLC Equipment identified below and operated by the stated MASS LYNX SOFTWARE. Additionally, the Two (2) Ultraviolet Detectors also manufactured by Waters are separate form this system but are included in this One (1) year maintenance agreement. This maintenance agreement includes all parts and labor necessary to repair this instrument, telephone support, and One (1) preventative maintenance visit. The U.S. EPA believes Waters Corporation is the only vendor capable of satisfying this requirement. The period of performance is expected to be for twelve (12) months 01 October 2007 through 31 September 2008. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811219 and the Small and the Small Business Size Standard is $6.5 million dollars. No request for quotation is available and this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. All interested, responsible, sources must respond by 26 July 2007. Interested vendors shall: 1)Include information on the proposed services which clearly supports the requirements outlined above. 2)Provide itemized pricing for each Line Item included on the attached equipment list document. If no affirmative responses are received by 26 July 2007, to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government an order will be placed with Waters Corporation.
