- Bio-Rad The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Bio-Rad Laboratories, Hercules, CA. The purchase order is for the purpose of purchase the Bio-Plex Protein 200 System- HTF, 100-240V. Includes Bio-Plex 200 Reader, Bio-Plex 200 Microplate Platform, Bio-Plex HTF, Computer, Flat-screen monitor, Bio-Plex Manager 4.1, Standard Edition Software, Workstation License, Calibration Kit, Validation Kit 4.0, MCV Plate III, Sheath Fluid with installation performed by a Bio-Rad Field Service Engineer. The authority for this sole source is FAR 6-302-1- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Classification System Code is 334516. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, firms that believe they can provide a comparable system in its entirety need to submit a written notification of interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist within 15 days from the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
