- The USCG has a requirement to provide services of a commercial vendor to conduct four (4) 5 day (40 hours) instructional courses designed to train Coast Guard personnel in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis procedures for the ATF-3 engine utilized on the HU-25 series aircraft. The most appropriate NAICS Code is 611519 with a small business size standard not to exceed $6,500,000. It is estimated that 40 to 80 students per year will be trained in the following subjects. This training is to be conducted on-site at one of the four units in the Coast Guard operating the HU-25 aircraft. This training is to be scheduled on an ?as needed? basis with four sessions scheduled each year based on the units scheduling with the vendor, COTR and AMT Rating Force Master Chief. The Contractor shall provide information services to train Coast Guard personnel in ATF-3 engine troubleshooting. Topics addressed include the following: Familiarization with the latest Service Bulletins pertaining to the ATF-3 engine; Familiarization of engine performance evaluations and interpreting the results Familiarization of electronic engine control and fuel control adjustment procedures; Familiarization with SOAP analysis and the determination of oil system repair; Familiarization with the proper usage of all related special tools and equipment; Familiarization with the proper maintenance instructions and documentation. The period of performance is a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods. This is a firm-fixed price contract.
