Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for the furnishing of ambulance services for the VA Medical Center, Topeka, KS. The Government intends to negotiate the requirement sole source with American Medical Response, 3121 Dodgion Street, Independence MO 64055. The sole source determination is justified in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only One responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 621910 and the Size Standard is $6.5 Million. Services include ALS and BLS ground ambulance transportation services for veteran beneficiaries 365 days/year, 24 hours/day. Contract term will be for a base period of one year with option to renew four additional one-year periods. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties are requested to review the above requirements, and submit a statement of interest that must be submitted on or before August 10, 2007, 4:00 p.m. CST. The determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
