The faces of the frame channel members are required to be 1 ?" in width. frame-side sub-assemblies are required to be arc welded at the corners and ground smooth. The frame transverse members require formed 14 gauge cold rolled sheet steel with seven mutually perpendicular bends, to form ?" deep ledges to match the frame sides. The transverse members require to be arc welded to the frame-side sub-assembly at the inside ends of the transverse members on two planes. The rack shall have a series of 5/16" diameter holes for bolting the angles to the support channels or fixed brackets. All angles and angles support channels are required to be plated zinc per fed spec QQ-Z-325 type II, class 3. Four Panel Mounting Angle Support Channels are required for each Vertical Rack .
