- The US Army Communications - Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) intends to award a five (5) year Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract on a non-competitive basis to Rockwell-Collins, Inc. (RCI ), Defense Electronics Systems, 350 Collins Road, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52498 under the Authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source for the procurement of up to $88.8M of spare parts for the AN/ARN-147 Very High Frequency Omnir ange/Instrument Landing System/Glideslope/Marker Beacon (VOR/ILS/GS/MB) Radio Receiving Set; AN/ARN-149 Low Frequency Automatic Direction Finder (LF-ADF); and AN/ARN-153 Advanced Digital Tactical Airborne Navigation System (TACANS). RCI is the only source with a complete technical data package (TDP). The Government does not possess the TDP for these systems or their Line replaceable units (LRUs). The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334511 with the corresponding small business size standard of 750 empl oyees. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is W15P7T-07-R-A236 and will be issued on or about 26 July 2007. The estimated award date is 25 September 2007. See Numbered note 22.
