Description

Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, except for Government furnished property, to complete the stock water delivery system described in the drawings and specifications. Bid Schedule items will include: 1) Trenching, Backfilling, and Compacting - Common, 18,288 lin. ft., 2) PVC Pipe, Class 160, 1-1/2 inch dia., 2647 lin. ft., 3) PVC Pipe, Class 160, 2 inch dia., 6053 lin. ft., 4) PVC Pipe, Class 200, 2 inch dia, 9030 lin. ft., 5) 1-1/2 inch Curb Stop Valve Assembly, 1 each, 6) 2 inch Curb Stop Valve Assembly, 6 each, 7) Air Reilef Valve Assembly, 8 each, 8) Watering Assembly, 7 each, 9) Water Trough Assembly, 3 each, 10) Water Trough Assembly w/Guard Panels, 4 each. This is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110. The Small business size standard is $31.0 million. Work under this contract is located in Phillips County, Montana. The contractor will have eighty (80) calander days after Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the project. The work will start on/about September 1, 2007. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment Protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. It is also recommended that contractors register their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted during the week of July 24, 2007. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". Response date for quotes will be on/about August 23, 2007. The exact closing date will be posted in the RFQ. Information regarding a Site Tour will be posted in the solicitation.
