Description

Scope of Work: The work shall consist of what is shown on the plans, stated in the specifications, and summarized below: ? Construct the detour roadway. ? Establish the traffic control signing and barricades as required. ? Remove the existing bridge and construct temporary bridge. ? Excavate for footings. ? Construct the footings. ? Construct the abutments and all or part of the wingwalls. ? Complete the grading and riprap under the bridge. ? Install the timber deck panels. ? Construct the backwall and the remainder of the wingwalls. ? Apply color stain to the abutments. ? Backfill the structure. ? Construct the approach rail embankments. ? Construct aggregate surface. ? Construct bridge rails and approach rails. ? Complete grading and riprap. ? Remove temporary traffic control signing and reopen the new bridge. ? Remove portions of the detour material and place it along the permanent road. ? Site clean-up and demobilization. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-MAY-2007).
