- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) reference number is 071207BUR-01. This solicitation and incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17 effective 15 May 2007. The solicitation incorporates by reference or by full text the following clauses and provisions: FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (Deviation); 52.204-9000, 52.222-3, 52.232-33, 52.232-9000, 52.247-34, 52.252-2, 52.239-9001, 52.239-9001, 252.212-7001 (Deviation), and Section 508. The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to solicit and award a single firm-fixed price purchase order under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334111 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based on this requirement. Please include your DUNS number, CAGE code, and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) in your response to this requirement. This requirement is for brand name or equal in accordance with FAR 11.104(a) and FAR 11.104(b). This requirement is for a total quantity of three (3). No other makes or models will be considered or evaluated. When replying with a quote please provide your specifications and a picture (if available). All descriptions/specifications will be evaluated along with pricing. All offers must meet the customer's minimum specifications as outlined within this combined solicitation. Offers not meeting the customer's minimum specification will not be considered for award. DISA requires 3 complete Enterprise level Network Switches with the capabilities listed below. Market research shows that the HP ProCurve 5308XL Switch Chassis with all module bays populated with 16 port 1000-T Gigabit modules, fully redundant power supplies, and warranty provides these capabilities. Any other product that is equal to the HP ProCurve Switch and modules listed below be offered, and if it meets these capabilities it will be considered. (2 Network Switches will be delivered to the Pentagon and 1 to Site R) 1. Must provide modular network switch chassis. Chassis modules must be hot-swappable. 2. Must support at least 128 (100Mb/sec), Full?Duplex CAT-5 ports. 3. Must support throughput of at least 32 million packets/sec. 4. Must support fabric switch of at least 70 Gbps. 5. Must include at least 30MB of SDRAM. 6. Must include at least 10MB of flash ROM. 7. Must support routing table of at least 8000K entries. 8. Must feature Virus detection capabilities. 9. Must feature VLAN support and tagging. 10. Must feature source-port filtering (allow for filtering of specified communications ports per physical port). 11. Must feature Layer 3 IP routing. 12. Must feature ACL (Access Control Lists). 13. Must feature Port level security (restrict physical port access via MAC address). 14. Must allow for remote access via Secure Shell (SSHv2). 15. Must feature advanced monitoring and reporting capabilities (RMOM or XRMON or equivalent). 16. Must allow for IEEE 802.1AB LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol). 17. Must include dual power supplies that provide for redundancy. They must be hot-swappable. 18. Must be no taller than 6U in standard 19in. telco rack. 19. Must be an (quantity of 3 complete switches) HP ProCurve 5803XL Chassis configured as follows or equal: 5308XL ProCurve Switch Chassis, (8) Gigabit Switch modules (16 ports per module for total of 128 ports per switch) model J4907A, Redundant power supplies, 24x7 On-Site Warranty (3 years) Delivery shall be within 30 days ARO. Information shall be provided in a format that reflects the price per item, a total price per item, and a grand total for all items. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation with no obligation to any offeror. Only one award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror.
