Description

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services intends to award under Simplified Acquisition Procedures on a Sole Source basis to Leo Porter. The contractor shall assist CMS staff in learning and acquiring proficiency in programming and requirements related to extracting data, constructing analytic files, and preparing data runs and reports that are the basis for the ASC update and MFS update and to provide special assistance in development of the ASC payment system required by MMA. Contactor shall have the expertise, knowledge, experience, skills, and familiarity with the ASC data in order to design an update process for the new ASC payment system; and to procure services of a systems designer/programmer who has the expertise, knowledge, and experience with the Physician Fee Schedule sufficient to modify the MFS rate setting system in response to significant proposed and final legislative and regulatory changes. All responsible sources may submit capability statements, which shall be considered by the agency in accordance with the requirements in the synopsis.
