Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Services are for Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. The contractor shall be located within a five (5) mile radius of the Hattiesburg Residential Reentry Center, located at 5209 Highway #42 Bypass, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, 39401. The services required for this contract include: Base Year (10/01/07 - 09/30/08): Estimated number of inmates 22: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units per 22 inmates = 528 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units per 22 inmates = 1,584 units; Family Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units per 6 inmates = 72 units; Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report = 1 per 6 inmates = 6 reports; Medication Monitoring 10 each; Intensive Outpatient Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units per 6 inmates = 72 units; Mental Health Individual Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units per 6 inmates = 72 units; Mental Health Group Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units per 6 inmates = 72 units . Option Year 4 (10/01/11 - 09/30/12): Estimated number of inmates 28: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units per 28 inmates = 672 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units per 28 inmates = 2,016 units; Family Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units per 6 inmates = 72 units; Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report = 1 per 6 inmates = 6 reports; Medication Monitoring 10 each; Intensive Outpatient Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units per 6 inmates = 72 units; Mental Health Individual Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units per 6 inmates = 72 units; Mental Health Group Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units per 6 inmates = 72 units . Treatment facility must meet Mississippi Department of Health and Hospitals Office of Addictive Disorders licensing requirements. Individual practitioners must meet State of Mississippi license/certification requirements. Note: Mental Health Intake Assessments and Reports & Medication Monitoring may be subcontracted out. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated May 2007. The request for quotation will be available on or after July 30, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
