Description: This is a sources sought synopsis for small business acquisition planning purposes and no formal solicitation exists at this time. The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Jacksonville is soliciting input from 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Small Business (SB) and other socio-economic concerns to determine the technical, administrative, management and financial capability of such offerors to perform this kind of work. Interested small business offerors must submit a brief, but complete capability statement that demonstrates the capability to perform this service for an evaluation no later than 19 July 2007. All responses to this sources sought shall include the information requested below. This information will be used by the Contracting Officer to assist in developing the procurement strategy, including whether a small business set-aside is warranted. LOCATION: Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, Florida GENERAL: The firm-fixed price services to be furnished include Financial Department Support Services for Commander, Navy Region Southeast (CNRSE) with a base year and possible four (4) option years, under NAICS code 561990 and size standard of $6.5M. The Government is considering issuing a solicitation/contract for Financial Department Support Services for CNRSE and shore installations belonging to CNRSE. The basic areas of Financial Department Support Services required are Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Management Support Services, Financial Systems Support Services, Budget Support Services, and Incoming Reimbursable Processing Support Services. Required support personnel labor categories anticipated include a Financial Analyst and IT Specialist. Individuals are anticipated to work 24 hours per week or 96 hours per month, with an estimated number of annual hours of 1248 and 32 hours per week or 128 hours per month, with an estimated number of annual hours of 1664, respectively. The Contractor shall provide personnel and maintain Government furnished equipment for the resulting contract, if any, beginning on or about 01 October 2007 through 30 September 2008. All interested Contractors are encouraged to submit the following: 1. Company name and address, along with a company profile with information relative to performance of past projects of similar size and complexity. (Include point of contact name, phone number, contract number, and dollar value of contract.) 2. Small Business status, relative to NAICS code 561990 3. Names, telephone numbers and email addresses of points of contact 4. Cost estimate to perform services 5. Any information, not already mentioned, that would need to be included in a solicitation to industry, in order for contractors to clearly understand and offer on the requirement.
