Description: The purpose of this action is to procure the technical support required for the Power Free-Electron laser Technical Advisory Working Group (HPFEL TAWG). This group reports to the Navy on issues surrounding the development and eventual deployment of ship mounted free-electron lasers (FEL), capable of defending against incoming threats. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five (45) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
