- Description
- The FRA intends to issue a solicitation on June 15th for a fixed-price type contract for the design, installation, training, and operations and maintenance of a Cab Technical Integration Laboratory. The FRA intends to make the laboratory available for use by the railroad industry and universities for research. Attached is the DRAFT statement of work. The FRA requests comments from the railroad industry and the academic community. Comments are due by June 11, 2007. The FRA is interested in how industry and the academic community might use the laboratory. Specifically, the FRA would like comments regarding the functionality of the simulator.
