Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs - VA Puget Sound Health Care System 1660 S. Columbian Way, Seattle, WA 98108 intends to negotiate sole source with SVI Healthcare, Inc. to furnish and install a Health line Interactive Digital Video-on-Demand (VOD) System for both American Lake and Seattle VA Campus. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 517910 with size standard 13.5 million dollars. The contractor shall furnish and install a complete Health line System that meet the following minimum requirements: Ability to interface with current VA CPRS and TEMPO software applications; ability to support a minimum of 12, ability to store a minimum of 36 hours of digitized video and expanded storage capacity; capability for future upgrades. The contractor shall use VA existing computer network cabling and provide a versatile and expandable platform for signal distribution throughout each medical center; which will tie directly to the VA Close Circuit Television (CCTV) System located in every patient room; most lobbies and a few staff break rooms. Other general specification requirements include: product training to end users, full onsite testing, technical support and maintenance services and warranty. This is not a request for competitive quotes however any firm that believes it can meet the requirements outlined may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten days from the date of posting this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in complete detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement; more importantly the interface requirement with current VA software. No telephonic responses will be accepted. Responses will be examined however a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VA will proceed with the sole source negotiation with SVI systems Inc.
