Description
The Air Force has an immediate requirement to construct a ramp for the 79TH Medical Group Air Staging Facility (ASF), Andrews AFB, MD. The ramp will connect the C-17 aircraft with the Ambulance Bus (AMBUS), thereby creating a walkway for personnel transferring patients to and from the aircraft and bus. The AMBUS is elevated off the ground at least four (4) feet. Using a ramp increases safety by lessening the amount of maneuvering personnel are required to do by keeping the patient level crossing into the vehicle eliminating extreme lifting and lowering. The ramp designs shall also have been previously pre-qualified to attach to a military C-17 type of aircraft with the AMBUS.All responses should be submitted to Ms. Antoinette Ingram at (202) 767-7939, Antoinette.Ingram.ctr@bolling.af.mil.
